LORIS Installation

LORIS installation and basic setup can be completed within minutes on a deployment-ready server.
Configuration, project setup, and deployment of specific modules may involve additional steps.

Requirements

Hardware

  • Server: any flavour of Linux (LORIS has been tested extensively for Ubuntu 12.04)
  • Space required - variable depending on study size and imaging data modalities (e.g. MRI, MEG)

Software

LORIS will require installation of the following software:

  • LINUX operating system (any flavour)
  • Apache2
  • MySQL
  • PHP/Pear
  • Perl
  • Git

Installation Steps

1. Create an account on github.com

2. Email the LORIS team to request access, providing your name, institutional affiliation, and github username.

3. Once you receive email notification of access granted to the Loris-Trunk repository on GitHub, log into the repository online.

4. In the Readme file on Github, follow the Installation Guide to install LORIS, followed by the Developer’s Guide to configure LORIS.
